Kofi Osei is the Secretary and At-Large Supervisor on the Towamencin Township Board of Supervisors, serving a term through 2029.

A longtime resident of Towamencin, Osei emerged from grassroots organizing with NOPE (Neighbors Opposing Privatization Efforts), where he was a central figure in the successful movement to re-write the township’s charter, embedding protections against the privatization of water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities. That charter was approved by residents in May 2023 and became effective on July 1, 2023.

In a rare electoral turn of events, Osei initially tied in the 2023 Supervisor race and ultimately won the seat via a random drawing of lots, making his election a historic milestone for Montgomery County.

As Supervisor, Kofi is committed to transparent governance, public engagement, and safeguarding community resources. A resident known for his advocacy and integrity, he continues to strengthen Towamencin’s commitment to citizen-led leadership and responsible decision-making.
